LOT #36 – Alverson Comstock Santa Anita Souvenir Deck

Cards in this wonderful deck are generally bright; only a few have the fading often found in the Alverson series; several have light stains on faces, AH has more. AS has small stain on face, more general staining on back, JS has edge bite and 2D has 1/2″ edge tear (top row of backs photo). Great Lucky Baldwin Joker (see front cover) has corner nicks on left side. Extra AS had been glued to a box (not present). RARE deck.
