Duolog
From the collection (and mind) of Ruth Kedar
52 Plus Joker is fortunate to have within its ranks several members who have designed and created decks. Prominent among these is Ruth Kedar.
Members of the club will be familiar with Ruth's graphic artwork, as it has graced the covers of many club publications, including rosters and convention schedules.

Collectors of modern decks of cards will be familiar with her work through her Analog deck, the suit she contributed to the highly-sought-after Adobe deck, and now this - her Duolog deck.
Here are some of Ruth's comments about the deck, from a promotional flyer:

 Jack of Hearts |

"The face cards, each uniquely detailed, maintain a strong link to traditional historic references.
The number cards are approached as an opportunity to create numerical patterns, giving each card a lush and colorful interpretation of the traditional designs..

Duolog is a continuing effort, which began with the Analog and the Adobe decks, to create new visual languages that enhance the experience of "playing" with playing cards.

Duolog is released as a very small edition, to assure excellence and craftsmanship of each card and deck. It is printed on a state of the art eight color press, with spot and metallic colors on both front and back, and protected with aqueous coating."
